Trauma Therapy

It is not about what is wrong with you, it is about What Happened to You.

Experiencing trauma whether from a single event or ongoing issues can leave strong, long lasting emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical effects. Trauma can often shake our sense of safety, disrupt relationships, and make life feel overwhelming. You might notice heightened anxiety, hypervigilant, difficulty trusting others, intrusive memories, or even disconnection from yourself or the world around you. These are not signs of weakness, they are natural responses to lived experiences that were too heavy to carry by yourself.

Trauma therapy provides a safe, compassionate space to  gently begin working through these experiences. At Stillwater Healing, trauma therapy is guided at your pace, honoring both the strength it takes to survive and the bravery it takes to heal. Together, we will use evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness based interventions, and trauma-informed care to help you process, reconnect with yourself, heal and build resilience. At Stillwater Healing we walk alongside you, sit with you in the darkness, and help bring you towards a place where you feel safe and whole.
